Between 22 and 26 November, Magda Radu and Alexandra Croitoru, members of Salonul de proiecte and part of the team of the project The Photographic Image Between Past and Future traveled to Oslo to present the structure and the results of the project to a number distinguished professionals from the field of photography – representatives of institutions, associations and organizations, curators and artists. Apart from a detailed presentation of the project organized at Fotogalleriet, the institutional partner, a number of targeted meetings were set up for the same purpose, with the following professionals: Susanne Østby Sæther, curator of Photography and New Media at Henie Onstad Kunstsenter; Behzad Farazollahi, director of the contemporary art and photography space MELK and Christian Tunge, founder of Heavy Books – a publishing project focused on photography; Kristin Skåmedal and Pål Otnes, editors of the renowned magazine Fotografi; the director of FFF – The Norwegian Association for Fine Art Photographers, Kjersti Solberg Monsen; the artist and curator Leban Hussein who organized the exhibition Memory on the Horizon – Studio photographies – Somalia 1960-1980 at the Museum of Cultural History in Oslo; the independent curator and journalist Zofia Cielatkowska; the artists Georgiana Dobre and Kjersti Vetterstad, the latter being also a teacher at the Project School, Oslo.
