The third session of the training initiated within the project The Photographic Image Between Past and Future was based on the interaction between the participants and Marthe Tolnes Fjellestad in regard to the archiving methods used during the project. She is a curator at Perspektiv Museum in Tromsø and was involved in a complex process of reorganization and digitization of the photographic collection of the University of Bergen Library. The team of Salonul de proiecte presented the methodology of each exhibition organized within the project, as well as the archiving and indexing methods used for the online catalogue featured on the website. Tolnes Fjellestad asked a series of questions, offered suggestions and concrete advice related to how images interrelate digitally through specific modes of formatting their description sheets.
The training session was attended by the project team comprised of Alexandra Croitoru, Magda Radu, Ștefan Sava, Adriana Dumitran, Calina Bârzu, by Antonio Cataldo from Fotogalleriet Oslo and by students from the Faculty of Art History and Theory (Alexandra Moț) and the Photo-Video Department (Monica Georgescu, Crăița Niga) from the National University of Arts in Bucharest, as well as the Center of Excellence in the Study of Image from the University of Bucharest (Rareș Toma).
